It was announced inside January 2011 that NBC had ordered a string entitled Grimm. David Greenwalt and Sean Kouf [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] co-wrote the preliminary, which was directed simply by Marc Buckland. [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] Filming for the start began in March with Portland, Oregon. It was announced within May 2011 that NBC [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] had grabbed the series.

Greenwalt and Kouf serve as executive producers with the series along with Sean Hayes in addition to Todd Milliner. The series [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] is produced by Universal Media Studios and also Hazy Mills Productions. It is filmed on location near Portland.
